Gina and Peter {Engagements}

I've been holding these photos in for weeks. Gina and Peter wanted me to wait until they picked their Save-the-Date and sent it out before I posted the rest. They are out and the photos are going on the blog! Gina is one of my amazing friends who is also a photographer. She asked me to do her and Peter's Save-the-Dates because she didn't want to pull out the tripod and remote :-) They had a whole shoot planned in a field with vintage furniture. Well as Tahmida and Sagar's wedding day went - the weather just did not cooperate. So we improvised and it was so much fun. Cold. Windy. Rainy. Who wouldn't LOVE that? Seriously though. My favorite engagement shoot to date and it will take a lot to top it. To set up - picture frame. disguises. cardboard signs. spectacular. Be prepared. There are a lot of photos in this blog post. A lot.

Tahmida and Sagar {Wedding}

Tahmida is my best friend's sister-in-law and I was so excited she asked me to photograph their wedding reception. Her and Sagar were married a few months before the reception. They wanted to celebrate with their friends and family though - who wouldn't? :-) The location was absolutely beautiful (Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay, CA) but the weather just was not on their side. Tahmida and Sagar had arranged to do a ring exchange on the bluff. The torrential downpours had a different plan. Tahmida and Sagar did not let this get them down though. They and all their friends and family enjoyed a lovely evening together. Though I was a little sad I did no get to make 'smores over the fire pit!







Tahmida really was excited for this photo of Sagar. He had a blemish and wanted it covered up! :-)
