Snowshoeing, Tubing, and Family {Travel Photography - Suncadia Resort}
This holiday weekend we got to spend some time with my dad, his wife, and my brother. They flew up from San Francisco and then we made the little over an hour drive to Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum. We rented a house on the property and boy was that a great choice!! The resort is beautiful and it was so wonderful having a house. I would recommend the resort to anyone. We rented snowshoes from the resort and spent a couple days wandering the snowy terrain. We also spent some time tubing which was a blast!! When not enjoying the snow we were playing board games and just enjoying time together. Saturday morning we woke up to a ton of fresh snow and it continued to snow all day! It made for some awesome photos. The only problem with this weekend - it was way too short!!

Sara + Dennis {Canandaigua, NY Wedding Photography}
Sara and Dennis were a part of the beginning of Lauren Kennedy Photography. Actually, Sara's sister Morgan was my very first client ever! After photographing Morgan, Sara and Dennis contacted me to do some family photos of them and their precious daughter Victoria. I have gained very much business from their family. So, when Sara contacted me about finding a photographer for her wedding in Rochester (since I had moved to Seattle) I decided I needed to make the trip to NY to photograph their wedding. It was so much fun seeing them and seeing how much Victoria has grown. I also got to see a few other past clients :-) I loved Sara's choice of blue for her accent color. Especially her gorgeous shoes!!

Christmas at Disneyland {Travel Photography}
If you do not know already I sort of love everything Disney. I lived in Southern California until I was 8 meaning I have many wonderful childhood memories at Disneyland. Even though we moved to Northern California when I was 8 we still would go often! Luckily I married a man who also loves Disney. While living in Rochester, NY we traveled to Florida many times just for Walt Disney World. Now that we are back on the west coast we can't make it to WDW as frequently. Luckily, we travel to Southern California every December to spend Christmas with my family. What does that mean? Well, we go to Disneyland every December 26! It really is the perfect time to go. The weather is perfect and the beautiful Christmas decorations are still up. Even though I have been to Disneyland more times than I can count I still take photos the entire time. My husband tends to get annoyed but I tell him he married a photographer so there is nothing he or I can do about this :-) So enjoy these photos of our day at the happiest place on Earth!

Faith + Matt {Kirkland Engagement Photography}
I have been anticipating this engagement shoot for a very long time now. Faith is a nurse tech at one of the hospitals I photograph new borns. Faith has been anxiously waiting for Matt to propose to her. We have been talking about my photography her wedding for - well lets just say a while. A couple weeks ago I got an emailed titled, "We're Engaged!". At first I did not see who it was from but was excited to read it no matter what because that is a very exciting title :-) Once I started reading it and realized it was Faith I got very excited! At my first meeting with her and Matt I could see why she was so anxious for him to ask her. They are so in love! We met up last weekend at Kirkland Marina Park. It was a beautiful sunny evening. Did I mention it was freezing! Faith and Matt were such good sports even when I made them freeze their tooshies on the cold cement. So excited to photograph their wedding next July. I know it is going to be a blast!!

Lindsey + Luke {Seattle Portrait Photography}
This session is one of my favorites this year. Lindsey and Luke moved out here a little over a year ago from Wisconsin. They knew each other in high school and both had crushes on each other but did not start dating until Junior year of college. So cute! July of 2010 they married. They decided to do a first anniversary shoot (ok it is a little past a year now) in their new home town of Seattle! We had so much fun playing around Pike Place Market and Post Alley.

Jill + Subhadeep {Seattle Wedding Photography}
I met Jill through work and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was excited! Though it is very nerve wrecking to photograph a fellow photographer's wedding! She is such a sweet girl though that I was very at ease the day of the wedding and had a blast. Jill and Subhadeep had an Indian ceremony with a Parisian themed reception (they were engaged in Paris) with 400 of their friends and family! Beautiful.
