Faith + Matt {Kirkland Engagement Photography}

I have been anticipating this engagement shoot for a very long time now. Faith is a nurse tech at one of the hospitals I photograph new borns. Faith has been anxiously waiting for Matt to propose to her. We have been talking about my photography her wedding for - well lets just say a while. A couple weeks ago I got an emailed titled, "We're Engaged!". At first I did not see who it was from but was excited to read it no matter what because that is a very exciting title :-) Once I started reading it and realized it was Faith I got very excited! At my first meeting with her and Matt I could see why she was so anxious for him to ask her. They are so in love! We met up last weekend at Kirkland Marina Park. It was a beautiful sunny evening. Did I mention it was freezing! Faith and Matt were such good sports even when I made them freeze their tooshies on the cold cement. So excited to photograph their wedding next July. I know it is going to be a blast!!

Baby "D" is 3 Months Old! {Sammamish Lifestyle Photography}

Baby D is 3 months old now. Though he looks a few months older! He was 11 pounds when born so he had a head start :-) I always have so much fun with this family. They have such a great sense of humor and boy did we need that for this shoot! Lets just say it was messy!

Lindsey + Luke {Seattle Portrait Photography}

This session is one of my favorites this year. Lindsey and Luke moved out here a little over a year ago from Wisconsin. They knew each other in high school and both had crushes on each other but did not start dating until Junior year of college. So cute! July of 2010 they married. They decided to do a first anniversary shoot (ok it is a little past a year now) in their new home town of Seattle! We had so much fun playing around Pike Place Market and Post Alley.

Jill + Subhadeep {Seattle Wedding Photography}

I met Jill through work and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was excited! Though it is very nerve wrecking to photograph a fellow photographer's wedding! She is such a sweet girl though that I was very at ease the day of the wedding and had a blast. Jill and Subhadeep had an Indian ceremony with a Parisian themed reception (they were engaged in Paris) with 400 of their friends and family! Beautiful.

Nikole and Brandon Engaged! {Seattle Wedding Photography}

Nikole and Brandon knew exactly where they wanted to do their engagement session. Volunteer Park in Seattle. Why? Well that is where Brandon proposed to Nikole. In fact we took a few photos with them sitting on the very bench it happened. They even wore what they wore that night. Cuteness! Not before Brandon wore his Army uniform. Brandon is just now finishing serving in the Army and Nikole wanted to see him in the uniform one last time. Put all of this together with a beautifully sunny October evening and we have a beautiful engagement session!

Agi + Matt {Seattle Wedding Photography}

Agi and Matt got married in the remote town of La Push (Yes, that is from Twilight). A simply beautiful beach ceremony followed by a pig roast dinner under a tent all with their close friends and family. The beautiful weather that weekend allowed for some playing around on the beach at sunset. This of course included viking helmets, bunny hats, and umbrellas. My favorite part of the evening was Agi and Matt's first dance to "Home is Whenever I'm with You" by Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. They have so much fun being in love!

Michael {Issaquah Senior Photography}

Michael is very much into cars and everything that has to do with cars so he requested we do his photos at the old Shell station in downtown Issaquah. I have to admit that ever since we moved here I wanted to do a shoot at that Shell station. It was so much fun! The colors just pop! After having fun at the Shell station we went to Costco Campus Park which is a place I had never heard of! It is tucked in between Barnes and Noble and Red Robin. Costco's headquarters is in there and surrounded by this beautiful park. So glad Michael's mom suggested it.

Gina + Peter {Petaluma Wedding Photography}

Disclaimer: I was not the photographer at this wedding. Gina and Peter are wonderful friends of mine. I traveled to California to be at their wedding and enjoyed every minute of it as a guest. (You might remember them from the engagement photos I took of them a few months ago) But, alas, I can't go without taking photos! Believe me when I say this is me controlling myself!

Gina and Peter got married at Tara Firma Farms in Petaluma, CA. Basically the most amazing farm wedding. Ever.

Courtney + Rick Engagement [Novato Portrait Photography}

I graduated high school with Courtney and I am so happy to say we are still great friends nearly 10 years later. I also love saying that every one of my dear high school friends has picked amazing men and Rick is definitely included in this. His laughter is contagious. I love when a couples love just oozes from my photographs. Makes my job easy! We did this shoot in about 30 minutes right before the sun went down because everything about that day did not go as planned for Courtney and Rick. The weather was also not cooperating. I think we were at then end of about a 10 day stretch of sunny 90 degree weather but that evening the fog and wind decided to join us. We did the shoot in our hometown, Novato, CA, which makes this shoot even more dear to me. Enough rambling! Enjoy the beautiful Courtney and Rick!

Erica and "The Jimmy" {Snohomish Portrait Photography}

My friend and coworker decided she wanted a photo with her long time car, "The Jimmy". We decided to go out into a field in Snohomish, WA with some beautiful evening light and play around. We had so much fun. It was great for the soul to be out there enjoying the evening.
