Baby Anderson {Newborn}

My posts are few and far between now that I am living in Washington! I am diligently working to build my business out here but while I do that I have taken a job as a freelance photographer for a company called Bella Baby Photography. I am loving my job while I work on my business. Taking photos of newborn babies is definitely a wonderful way to make money in the mean time :-)

More importantly this post is about my best friend Meredith (her maternity photos are in the previous post) and her new baby boy!! Meredith and her husband Mainul could not be happier parents. They completely glow!! Since they live in San Francisco I sadly do not get to see them very much. I fortunately got to visit and photograph Anderson during our trip down there for Thanksgiving. I love being Auntie Lauren and can't wait to get down there in a couple weeks to love on Anderson some more :-)

Only 2 weeks old and he can lift his head up! :-)

Happy momma!

Love his eyes in this one :-)

Happy parents!

These next three I love...especially the last one.

Such a good daddy :-)

Meredith {Maternity}

My best friend, Meredith, is expecting! This past weekend I went down to Northern California to help throw her a shower. After the shower I took a few quick photos of her. She is so beautiful and glowing it made it so easy :-) I am so happy that I am finally on the west coast and could be there for the shower and to see her all pregnant and happy. I can't wait to go down in November and meet her new baby boy!!

Tricia & Matt {Wedding}

Tricia and Matt's wedding was my farewell to Rochester! Since this wedding I have moved to Issaquah, WA and am setting up my business in the Seattle area. Tricia and Matt made my last Rochester wedding a great one. A photographer loves when a couple just can't stop looking at each other and loving on each other! Makes my job so easy. Their ceremony and reception were both held at Webster Park at the White House Lodge. Tricia and Matt wrote their own vows and all I can say is "Wow!" Their vows were so full of their love and energy as a couple it was hard not to tear up. I wish I had them as a narrative to this blog because they truly were beautiful!

Seriously so much love!

And now for comic relief we have the mother of the bride trying to get the sugar out of the jar. It was so hot it basically melted and stuck to the bottom! Tricia and Matt did a variation on the sand ceremony by using sugar and spice. That is how they see themselves in their relationship. Sweet and spicy!

So we took this photo of the guys holding Tricia up. The groomsmen second from the left felt there was no need for him to hold her up!

It was so hot and humid that day. Everyone migrated outside and eventually the dancing was outside too!
