The Kennedy's Pea Patch

In our little community, Klahanie, here in Issaquah, Washington there is a Community Pea Patch. During a walk through one of the many wonderful walking trails in the neighborhood we discovered not only the patch but that is is merely minutes from our apartment. In fact if there was not these big glorious trees right outside our balcony we could see the patch. So we of course called the number on the sign and quickly reserved our patch. Patch #18 and actually in a wonderful spot! I am of course going to document every minute of our gardening adventure. At this point it is just soil but hopefully soon I will have some fun photos of tiny little sprouts!

Just dirt and weeds

All Tilled up :-)

Got my boots on! Lets plant :-)

Ready for the seeds

Look at that sun...for 5 minutes!

I just stumbled across your blog and have really enjoyed looking at your work. I too just moved to the area, Klahanie to be exact, and am starting up in my Wedding Floral Design business. How's it been going for you?

Hi Kristie! Welcome to my blog :-) I live in Klahanie as well!! How funny is that? It's been going ok. I have booked 2 weddings for September of this year and have a meeting with another couple tonight for a May 2012 wedding. So hopefully it just starts to pick up more and more. How has it be going for you? We should meet up for coffee or something since we are so close!
