The Godown Family

So I recently did a photo shoot with the Godown family. Can I tell you how amazingly easy this shoot was. Sure, Joshua was incredibly literal at everything I told him to do (it was hysterical!!) but there was very little whining or tears. Emma is adorable and couldn't have been any easier to photograph. The most difficult part of the shoot was dealing with the harsh sun since there were no leaves on the trees yet! I hope to do more with them in the future!

Katie and Michael Sneek Peek!

I am editing my latest wedding right now and thought I would post a couple pictures I am excited about! I will of course post more of my favs when I complete the editing but this will have to do for now. I loved meeting and working with Katie and Michael. Their wedding was beautifully intimate!

My Photo on an Album - Jason Daniel

Last fall I did a photo shoot with a new and local artist, Jason Daniel. He needed some photos for his album. I loved this shoot because I could be as creative as I wanted and it was encouraged! The album just came out and I found the jacket online! It is very exciting to see my photo used for an album and I am so glad Jason was happy enough with the photos to use one! I don't know if the inside of the cover has more photos or not but here is the cover. Funny thing is I think the cover photo was one of the very first pictures I took! Always works that way doesn't it?

Here are some of my other favorites from the shoot!

Erin and Nate's Wedding

Erin and Nate's wedding was a blast! The location was perfect and all the little details really came together as a beautiful and elegant wedding. When I walked into the cocktail reception I got so excited to see a roaring fire and an Irish Trio! I knew this would be an easy wedding to photograph. Then they opened the reception doors and I saw that every table had a cake as the centerpiece. I thought I was excited from the Irish band! The room was gorgeous and the cakes just added that special touch. Everyone seemed to have a blast during the reception - including me! I couldn't decide which photos to post so there are a lot! The very last photo is of a guest dancing to 'Nsync's "Bye Bye Bye" - he knew the whole thing it was hilarious!!

Congratulations Amanda and Eric!!!!!

Ok...I had to post this!  One of my best friends, Amanda, just got engaged to her boyfriend (well, Fiance now!!) Eric.  They are getting married March 9, 2010 at Walt Disney World!  I couldn't be more happy for Amanda and I can't wait to see her get married.  I don't know what I would do without her - she deserves all the happiness in the world.  I am not photographing their wedding (I want to party instead!) but I did take some photos of them back in December.  I did them as test shots when I received my Canon 5D Mark II. Here are a couple!

The Camman Family

Heather had contacted me back in December to do newborn photos.  Unfortunately we never made that happen but she then contacted me to do a family shoot!  It didn't end up being the easiest photo shoot - we all know how 2 year olds can be - but I did have fun and hope to do more with them in the future.  Hopefully on a nice warm day so we can go outside more!  Such a beautiful family - here are some of my favs!

Stephanie & Brian's Wedding

I photographed Stephanie and Brian's wedding back on January 4. I loved Stephanie and Brian! When I would tell them to look at each other for a photo they did so as if they never wanted to stop!  It was so nice to see such pure love.  Their sense of humor was great and made my job even easier.  It was a small, simple wedding full of love!  I wish them a life full of happiness.
