Brittny & Doug's Tacoma Museum of Glass Engagement Shoot {Engagement Photography}

Last Sunday - mind you the hottest day of our "summer" here in the Pacific Northwest - I met up with Brittny and Doug at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. We started inside and quickly realized all the fun that was to be had was outside. Unfortunately in the heat! They were such sports and did not complain about the heat. We had fun exploring the grounds of the museum. I can't wait to photograph their big day in September!








This fountain thing was covered in water and it too a lot of will power not to just get soaked in it!

Becca and Tim's Sonoma Wedding {Wedding Photography}

First and foremost I was not the photographer at this wedding! Must admit - I had such a wonderful time not "working" at this wedding. Becca is a great friend from high school and we both agreed I should just relax and have fun at her wedding. I am so glad I did. Though I could not go without my camera and I was pretty much taking photos constantly but it was a different experience. I had fun with different angles and points of view since I was not up front and center for a lot of things. So this post has photos of the wedding, photos of my amazing friends and even a puppy we came across. Oh and FYI - Tim loves Star Wars. Be prepared. ;-) Oh and there may be an overwhelming amount of photos in this blog...again. Be prepared ;-)

Instead of a guest book they had this beautiful tree. Guests take a leaf and sign their name on the leaf. Stick it to a branch and then put their finger print over their signature. Beautiful idea!

Gina and I had this big plan to take a Polaroid of Becca and Tim kissing and then have them hold it and take another photo. Well that did not work they were too busy having fun. So we improvised!
